Gallagher Premiership Saturday rugby betting previews

With two derbies to look forward to and confidence in Gloucester's ability to win at Wasps, the West Country dominates today's best rugby odds round-up.

Newcastle at under 16.5 points came good for us at Sale Sharks on Friday night – just about! But the double result of Leicester-Leicester was ruined by an unusually fast start from London Irish. That said, they still only went into the break with Leicester tied at 13-13.

Some interresting rugby betting opportunities stand out in Saturday’s three fixtures, where we expect Bath to push Exeter close, and possibly go all the way and win. Bath have momentum behind them and the Chiefs are stuck in neutral, so we’re looking favourably on the six-point advantage given to the home side.

The other 3 o’clock kick-off sees out-of-sorts Wasps entertain Gloucester at the Ricoh Arena. We always felt that the Cherry & Whites would come good, and while one win over struggling Worcester doesn’t make a season, the Cherry & Whites will be relieved to finally get the monkey off their back after a barren run of eight straight losses. The 9/4 on them backing up the Worcester win is tempting to say the least.

The tea-time kick-off is at Sixways where Worcester take on leaders Bristol. To expect Worcester to score over 17 points looks a tad optmistic, and we’re recommending a bet on the unders market.
